It was very short and to the point. He addressed the injury, made a diagnosis and recommended a procedure that did not involve surgery.

Dr. Ohlson is an incredible surgeon. You cannot be sensitive to his quiet nature--it has nothing to do with your treatment. Dr. Ohlson has performed a total knee replacement and also done a Cartiva implant on my great toe. I am totally mobile now because of him. I have spent countless years wasting my time going to doctors who just kept me coming back, but not relieving my pain. I would recommend Dr. Ohlson to anyone and have offered to be a counselor to anyone who is afraid to have surgery

Dr Ohlson has been great with my ankle replacement surgery! Briefed me on the surgery and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I’m 6 weeks out of surgery and doing well!

Dr. Ohlson is phenomenal!!! It has been a year and two months since my ankle surgery and I have had zero problems!! I can run , stand on one foot, no pain at all ! I was told by other people I would have terrible problems!! No true! And screws and plates still in tact! I’m not sure why some have said he has a bad personality... my husband and I LOVED him!! Even said he would be someone we could see ourselves being great friends with!! Maybe he was having a bad day( as we all do on occasion). SW

Dr. Ohlson’s specialty is feet. He has operated on my left foot twice. He and his PA, Kate Eden, are first rate, have taken excellent care of me, even calling themselves to check on me after surgery. Kate is highly skilled, assisting Dr. Ohlson with surgeries and providing the majority of my follow-up, but I have always been able to see Dr. Ohlson when I needed to but at times, I have to go to West Ashley. As long as I get care when I need it, that is okay with me. I highly recommend them both.

Spouse had a very detailed ankle surgery without any complications; the outcome has been great Planning future surgery on other ankle as soon as work schedule allows; There was often a lengthy wait past scheduled appointment time, but well worth the wait Surgeon came out after surgery to discuss procedure and follow up care and sat down as if he had all the time in the world even though he had another surgery waiting Has three locations for office visits

Excellent results from surgery. Regained 90% of mobility in that joint despite a pretty bad injury with multiple tears.

Broke 3 bones.came in and set it but had to wait 5 days for surgery. Post op, stayed over night in hospital. Now at home a week and a half, going to see Kate tomorrow. Hoping for good news and a smaller cast.
